• Surface scratch correction — Holo and non-holo surface marks treated through precision surface correction techniques.
• Crease and bend reduction — Light to moderate structural deformation addressed through controlled humidity and pressure. Every crease leaves a scar, and graders will almost always see it.
• Cleaning — Safe removal of fingerprints, dust, adhesive residue, and surface contaminants, as part of every restoration.
• CGC grading — After restoration we can submit your cards to CGC through a third-party CGC dealer account: $30 per card, CGC’s grading fee included, about two weeks at CGC. We’re not affiliated with CGC.
• Edge lifts and soft corners — Lifted edges and delamination, and corners softened by a slight bend (not torn), can often be improved. Whitening, chipping and missing paper can’t be fixed.
• Intake record — Every card is scanned in at intake as a record of how it arrived, and your submission tracker shows its scans and progress.

1. Submit your card — Use our submission form: name each card and enter its declared value, which sets its price tier.
2. Ship to us — Buy our prepaid FedEx 2Day label at checkout ($35 round trip, emailed within 1 business day), or ship on your own with tracking ($20 return shipping fee). Pack by our packing guide.
3. Assessment and restoration — Your box is opened on video and counted against your order, each card is scanned in and labeled, and then it’s restored using techniques appropriate for its specific condition.
4. Review and return — Every card goes through a quality check, then ships back to you, with return shipping insured by The Mint Workshop. Your submission tracker shows where your order is.

Turnaround Time

Standard turnaround is 24–30 business days from when your cards arrive and are checked in. Need it sooner? Expedited service is $49.99 per card with a 5–7 business day turnaround (not available for creased cards).

Do you have a physical location I can visit?

We operate as a mail-in service. This allows us to maintain a controlled restoration environment and serve collectors nationwide — rather than being limited to a single location. Submissions are placed online, or in store at a Mint Workshop Pro partner hobby shop.

How do I know my card is safe?

Every box is opened on video, your cards are counted against your order, and each card is scanned in and labeled before any work begins. Your submission tracker shows its scans and progress. With our prepaid label, US orders can add Cabrella shipping insurance for the trip to us: 1.5% of your declared value, covering up to $25,000 per package by FedEx 2Day or $40,000 by FedEx Priority Overnight, with a $250 deductible per claim. Without it, carrier coverage is $100. Return shipping is insured by The Mint Workshop.

Do you work on high-value cards?

Yes — high-value cards are our primary focus. Vintage holos, cards headed for grading, and cards with significant collector or investment value are exactly what our service is designed for.

Is your work compliant with grading company guidelines?

We can’t speak for the grading companies — each applies its own standards. We use non-destructive methods only — no trimming, no ink, no recoloring, no varnish. Grading outcomes are not guaranteed, and we make no promise about whether a grading company will detect or note restoration work.
