How to pack and ship
Pack it once. Pack it right.
Every card that reaches us is scanned into intake, photographed and logged before anything else happens. Packing it our way keeps that fast and keeps your cards safe in transit.
Before you ship
Five steps to a safe box.
Takes about ten minutes. If you're using our prepaid label, the box is already addressed to us.

Get your label
We email a prepaid FedEx label within 1 business day of checkout. It's addressed to us and tied to your order, so print it and keep it handy.

Top loader every card
Sleeve each card, then slide it into its own top loader. Our intake scanners only take top loaders, so semi-rigids and screw-downs slow everything down.

Seal it in a team bag
Put each top loader in a team bag and seal the flap so the card can't slide out. No tape on the top loader or the card, ever.

Pack the box
Stack the bagged cards, sandwich them between two pieces of stiff cardboard, then box them with enough padding that nothing shifts when you shake it.

Put your order inside
Print your order confirmation with the order number clearly visible and place it in the box. That's how we match your cards to your order the moment we open it.

Please don't
Don't ship cards in rigid mailers.
Cards that arrive in rigid mailers, loose, or taped have to be repacked into top loaders before we can scan them in, and that labor is charged as a repacking fee. Rubber bands, sticky notes and tape on or near the cards can damage the very surfaces we're restoring.

When will my label arrive?
Within 1 business day of checkout, by email. If you don't see it, check spam, then reply to your order confirmation and we'll resend it.
Can I ship it myself?
Yes. Send it with tracking to the Cranford address above and put your order printout inside. A return shipping fee applies, and the trip to us isn't covered by our insurance, so we recommend the prepaid label.
How does insurance work?
Cabrella insurance covers your package on the way to us, up to $25,000 per package, and is available on US orders at checkout. Without it, the carrier's coverage is only $100. Claims carry a $250 deductible per claim. Return shipping is insured by The Mint Workshop.
How many cards per box?
Everything on one order goes in one box. Each card still needs its own top loader and team bag, and every card should match a numbered line on your order.
