Sports Card Restoration. Done right.
Baseball, basketball, football and hockey cards — vintage or modern. We clean, lift wax and gum stains, flatten wavy cards, reduce creases and repair lifted edges so your cards look their best, whether they're headed for a slab or staying in your collection.
Start Your RestorationWhat we restore
Dirt and grime
Surface dirt, residue and specks from years in boxes, binders and basements, cleaned off safely.
Wax and gum stains
Wax stains from old pack wrappers and gum stains from the stick that came in the pack — the classic vintage problem, removed.
Wavy and curled cards
Cards that have curled or gone wavy from humidity or storage, flattened back down.
Creases and bends
Crease reduction is part of the full service. Creases can leave a scar, and we'll tell you if grading is a risk. See sports card crease repair.
Lifted edges
Edge lifts and delamination at corners and edges, reattached and laid back down.
Soft corners
Corners softened by a slight bend can often be improved, as long as they're not torn.
What we can't fix
- Whitening
- Chipping or missing paper
- Water stains, ink or marker
- Factory miscuts or rebuilding a card
What we never do
- Trimming
- Adding ink or recoloring
- Varnish or coatings
- Promising a grade
Vintage and modern
A 1950s baseball card and a modern chrome rookie need very different care. Older cardboard is softer and more absorbent; modern cards have glossy and chrome surfaces that show every mark. We look at each card and pick the method its stock and condition call for. Restoring vintage cardboard? See our baseball card restoration page.
How it works
- Submit online. Fill out the submission form. Each card's service tier is set by its value, and you'll see your price before checkout.
- Ship it. Use our prepaid FedEx 2Day label ($35 round trip) and add insurance for the trip to us. Each card goes in a top loader closed with a team bag.
- Intake. Your box is opened on video, counted against your order, and each card is scanned in and labeled before any work begins.
- Restoration and quality check. Every card is restored and checked before it leaves.
- Back to you. Insured return shipping with signature required. Follow every stage on your submission tracker.
Standard turnaround is 24–30 business days after check-in. Expedited service is $49.99 per card with a 5–7 business day turnaround (not available for creased cards).
Restoration and grading
After restoration, we can submit your cards to CGC through a third-party CGC dealer account: $30 per card, CGC's grading fee included, about two weeks at CGC. We're not affiliated with CGC.
